Manitoba Community Mobilization Initiatives
Initiative Objectives
​
Manitoba’s CM initiatives work to achieve the following objectives:
1. Enhance participant safety and well-being; and
2. Improve the coordination of services for participants.
15 CM initiatives exist throughout the province implementing slightly different CM models.
Each model shares common elements including:

Multi-sector collaboration;
-
Partnerships with local police agencies;
-
Coordination of appropriate services;
-
More efficient use of existing services;
-
Information sharing protocols; and
-
Community engagement and commitment.
